Reverend Herbert is a Minister of the Uniting Church in Australia and has overall responsibility for UnitingCare NSW.ACT and its community services across New South Wales and ACT. Rev Herbert is a strong public voice on issues of injustice in society and actively advocates on behalf of the service users of UnitingCare.
As well as being Executive Director of UnitingCare NSW.ACT, Reverend Herbert holds a number of other positions including:
