UnitingCare wishes to thank all of our generous supporters who contributed gifts for people struggling financially in the 2009 UnitingCare Christmas Appeal.
With two million Australians living in poverty, your gift went a long way to help the disadvantaged over Christmas. Thank you and best wishes for 2010.
Services include aged care and disability programs, services for vulnerable families, children and young people and quality early childhood education and care. UnitingCare NSW.ACT also manages the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre. As well as the provision of these services, we demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice advocacy by publicly speaking out on issues that affect the people we serve. This is reflected in our social justice charter.
UnitingCare NSW.ACT also works as part of the national UnitingCare Australia network of community service organisations, and continually seeks to address injustice, works to overcome disadvantage and develops initiatives to strengthen and connect communities.
